Description
Hello, my name is Kirsty H and I am a female home carer with extensive experience in caring for individuals with various needs and conditions. I have been working in the care industry for several years now and have gained valuable knowledge and skills along the way.
I have experience in providing care for individuals with learning disabilities, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, Depression, and those who are bedbound. I am proficient in assisting with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. I also offer companionship and emotional support, as I understand the importance of social interaction and connection.
One of the aspects that sets me apart is my ability to drive and my access to a car. This allows me to provide support not only within the home but also for any outings or appointments that may be necessary. Additionally, my car enables me to run errands and ensure that my clients have everything they need.
Outside of my role as a carer, I have a number of hobbies that keep me active and engaged. I enjoy cooking and baking, horse riding as well as engaging in DIY projects. I also find solace in reading, listening to music, and participating in various sports activities.
I am a compassionate and friendly individual, always ready to lend a helping hand to those who need it. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives, while providing them with the necessary care and support. I understand the importance of fostering an environment that allows individuals to maintain their dignity and enhance their quality of life.
In terms of pet preferences, I have no reservations and am comfortable working with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, birds, or any other beloved companions.
I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience, skills, and caring nature to provide exceptional care for your loved ones.
